Attend SCORE’s Internet Marketing 101 Fall class and find out how to make Internet tools work for you. This introductory class will help you discover the following:

• What are blogs, social networking sites, email newsletters, search engines, pay per click campaigns and more? Plus, what do these things do and why are they important?

This class is geared towards small business startups and companies interested in integrating the Internet into their current business model or plan. Internet beginners and business owners unfamiliar with web site design are encouraged to attend.

Sarah Benoit is co-owner of Sidhe (pronounced “She”) Communications, LLC based in Asheville, North Carolina. Sidhe Communications is an organic search marketing and web site development company founded by Benoit and her long time business partner, Elizabeth Kirwin, in 2003. Ms. Benoit is an organic search marketing specialist and professional writer with experience in the healthcare, music, real estate, fine arts, tourism and ecommerce fields. She has a five-year background in event production and media relations as well. Ms. Benoit currently facilitates classes and trainings covering topics such as Internet marketing, web site development, organic search marketing, writing for the web, referral marketing techniques, keyword analysis and Internet research.

• Location: A-B Tech Enka Campus, Small Business Center, Room 2046

Directions:

• Take I-40 to Exit 44 (coming from East or West)
• Turn right off the exit ramp.
• Go to 4th traffic light (do not count the light at the end of the exit ramp).
• Turn left on Sand Hill Road (this is a 4-way intersection with Asbury Road turning to the right)
• Go to second entrance on left (there is a sign identifying A-B Tech Enka Campus)
• The Small Business Center is on the left at the far end of the building.
• Room 2046 is on the second floor.
• There is ample parking

Inclement Weather Schedule:

When weather conditions are such that driving is hazardous, seminars will be cancelled and rescheduled. Asheville Score will follow A-B Tech's decision to cancel classes.
