Class 1: Internet Marketing 101 - October 15, 2008 Wednesday

In the modern world communicating via the Internet has become commonplace. Many small businesses and corporate companies now utilize the massive exposure available online in order to build and maintain both a strong customer base and financial security. Are you wondering about the Internet? Would you like to know more about how the Internet can be a good investment for you? Attend SCORE’s Internet Marketing 101 Fall class and find out how to make Internet tools work for you. This introductory class will help you discover the following:

    Class 2: Internet Marketing Advanced - December 3, 2008 Wednesday

The more companies there are online the harder it is to maintain a number one spot on the search engines and the more difficult it is to achieve the online attention you need.     Sarah Benoit is co-owner of Sidhe (pronounced “She”) Communications, LLC based in Asheville, North Carolina. Sidhe Communications is an organic search marketing and web site development company founded by Benoit and her long time business partner, Elizabeth Kirwin, in 2003. Ms. Benoit is an organic search marketing specialist and professional writer with experience in the healthcare, music, real estate, fine arts, tourism and ecommerce fields. She has a five-year background in event production and media relations as well. Ms. Benoit currently facilitates classes and trainings covering topics such as Internet marketing, web site development, organic search marketing, writing for the web, referral marketing techniques, keyword analysis and Internet research.

    • 5:30 PM - Registration
    • 6:00 AM- Seminar starts promptly
    • Location: A-B Tech Enka Campus, Haynes Center, Room 209

    Directions:

    • Take I-40 to Exit 44 (coming from East or West)
    • Turn right off the exit ramp.
    • Go to 4th traffic light (do not count the light at the end of the exit ramp).
    • Turn left on Sand Hill Road (this is a 4-way intersection with Asbury Road turning to the right)
    • Go to second entrance on left (there is a sign identifying A-B Tech Enka Campus)
    • The first building on the right is the Haynes Center- Room 209
    • There is ample parking

    Inclement Weather Schedule:

    When weather conditions are such that driving is hazardous, seminars will be cancelled and rescheduled. Asheville SCORE will follow A-B Tech's decision to cancel classes.
